How To - Conference Call Answers


This section will guide you through many aspects of using the StarConferencing conference call service, from signing up for the service to viewing your invoice. Account How To Answers

  1. Sign Up
    Signing up is a simple one step process where you simply provide information about yourself and your credit card information. You are then sent an email with your user name and password. You will then be able to log in to the StarConferencing.com web site to retreive your conference call information.

  2. Log In to gain access to your conference calls info
    After you sign up you will receive an email with your password. Return to the StarConferencing.com site and click the Log In button or My Account button and put in your user name and the password that was emailed to you.

  3. Change My Password
    Log on to the StarConferencing.com web site using your user name and password and click on Change Password in the left navigation bar. Follow the instructions to change your password.


Billing How To Answers

You must first Log In to your account to access your account information.

  1. Change My Credit Card

    You can change your credit card details by logging into your account and going to the Online Billing Center.

    1. Go to www.starconferencing.com and log in with your user name and password.
    2. Click on the Online Billing Center link on the navigation bar to the left.
    3. Select a Billing Period from the drop down menu.
    4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
    5. In the section titled "Payments", go to the "Payment by Credit Card" section.
    6. Click on the link under the credit card symbols.
    7. Under the "Online Payment Methods" heading, click the "Update Billing Information" button.
    8. Enter your credit card information into the fields provided.
    9. After completing this section, click the "Update" button, and your information will be stored.

    All of the information you enter on this online bill pay screen is stored on a secure server with additional security and encryption protecting your information.


  2. Add Billing Reference Information
    Log in to your account and click on View/Edit Passcode in the left navigation bar. Here you can add or edit billing reference information such as the name of the person using the code or cost center information and this information will appear on the invoice.

  3. View My Invoice

    1. Go to www.starconferencing.com and log in with your user name and password.
    2. Select "Online Billing Center" from the left navigation bar.
    3. Select a Billing Period from the drop down menu or select the Reports button to customize the date range for your data.
    4. Choose View Type to sort "By User" or "All Users".
    5. Click on a specific call for more detail. You can also sort the data by clicking on the column headers.
    6. To print a hard copy of your invoice, simply click on the "Your Bill" tab, go to the "Downloads" button, and select a billing period. Click on the underlined file name for this PDF file. You can now print this file or save it to your computer for easy reference and storage.


  4. Answer questions on my Invoice
    You can have questions regarding your invoice answered by emailing us at billing@starconferencing.com or by calling us at 866-230-0373.


Conference Calls - How To Answers

  1. Schedule a Conference Call
    With the StarConferencing.com service there is never a need to schedule any of your conference calls. You can use the dial in information and passcodes to host conference calls anytime you like for up to 125 participants.

  2. Invite Guests to my Conference Call
    We recommend that you send the conference dial in information and Guest passcode via a calendar program such as Microsoft Outlook. Provide your Guests with the Guest passcode and whatever dial in information you would like to supply for the call.

  3. Start a Conference Call
    The Host and Guests simply dial either the Local or Toll Free Dial In access number and input the Host or Guest passcode followed by the # key on their telephone to join the conference. The conference call is started when the Host dials in to the conference. For security reasons, the Guests will be listening to music until the Host joins the call.

  4. Access Conference Call Features
    After you have joined the conference call, as Host you can access a number of features by pressing the star (*) key followed by a one or two digit command. These features and their associated control commands are listed in the Conference Calls Controls section and the most frequently used commands are printed on the handy wallet card you can print for your reference.

  5. Replay my Audio Conference calls

    1. Upon completion of your teleconference you will receive an email with your replay dial in information. Your playback recording will be available shortly thereafter.

    2. Dial either the Toll Free or Direct Dial-In access number.

    3. Enter your Conference Number followed by the # key.

    4. You will then listen to a description of the replay options. To skip the replay options and go immediately to the recording, press * on your telephone keypad.

    5. Conference Replay is available for 30 days following your conference call.

  6. Change my Reservation Pass Codes

    1. Log into your on line account at www.starconferencing.com.

    2. Select the host code of your reservation.

    3. From the Reservation details page select NEW. You will be asked to confirm your request and reminded that the action can not be undone.

  7. Get a copy of your recorded conference.

    As Host if you record the conference using the Host Feature *22, you can order a CD recording by accessing the conference detail when you are logged in to your account. The CD recording is available for 30 days following your conference call.
