- Q: Do I have to reserve my conference calls in advance?
A: No, with our service you can hold your conference call at any time for up to 125 participants. When you sign up you will be provided with Local Access and Toll Free Access Dial In numbers and a conference passcode you can use every time you need to hold a conference call without the need to reserve in advance.
- Q: Do you support International callers?
A: Yes, your international participants can also join your conference call by calling the Local Access Dial In number from anywhere in the world.
- Q: How many people can I have on a conference call at one time?
A: Our service supports up to 125 participants on a conference call at one time.
- Q: Do I need any special equipment to access your service?
A: No, you can access our service from any telephone, including a cell phone.
- Q: Do I get a dedicated number for my conference call?
A: Yes, a permanent dial in number and Host and Guest codes will be assigned to you that you can use whenever you want to conduct a conference call.
- Q: Do the Host and Guests use the same numbers?
A: The Host and Guest will dial in to the conference using the same access number, but the passcodes are different. This allows the Host to control the conference and access special features only available to the Host.
- Q: Do you offer any features/services in addition to the normal conference call?
A: There are many features/services available to both the Host and Guests on a conference call including muting of lines, volume control and even recording of the conference. The details regarding these features can be found in the Conference Controls section and also in the Help section of this web site.
- Q: Can I get a recording of my conference?
A: Yes. As Host if you record the conference using the Host Feature *22, you can order a CD recording of your conference call by accessing the conference detail when you are logged in to your account.
- Q: Can I see how long my conference call was before I receive the invoice?
A: After the completion of your conference you will receive an email that contains details regarding the call usage including participant phone numbers when using Toll Free Dial In Access, the number of participants and the total number of minutes of the conference call.
- Q: Do you provide a wallet card containing my conference information?
A: Yes, when you sign up for the service you can print a wallet card that contains the dial in numbers, Host and Guest codes and a list of the most popular Host control features.
- Q: Can I have more than one passcode in my account?
A: No, since the service offers 500 minutes included for a fixed fee, you will need to open an account for each additional passcode.

- Q: What does the service cost?
A: The service is billed at a monthly rate of $19.99 per account which includes 500 minutes of Toll Free or Toll access. If you should use more than 500 minutes in a month you will be charged 3.9¢/min per participant after that.
- Q: Is there a limit to the number of conference calls I can hold?
A: No, you can hold as many conferences per month as you like.
- Q: What if I join the service in the middle of the month. Do I pay the full monthly fee of $19.99?
A: Yes, since the charge of $19.99 includes 500 minutes of conferencing, it does not matter when you join the service. You will be charged $19.99 for the month plus any charges for additional minutes and services.
- Q: Am I billed monthly whether I use the service or not?
A: Yes, our monthly service fee of $19.99 is billed monthly as long as your account is active.
- Q: If I cancel my service will I be billed for that month?
A: Yes, the monthly fee of $19.99 will be charged for the month you cancel your service. At the end of the month you will be billed the monthly fee and any Dial In access charges in excess of 500 minutes for the month.

A: No, you can cancel your account at any time.

- Q: What payment methods are available?
A: All payments for our services are done through a credit card.
- Q: What type of credit cards do you accept?
A: We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard for payment.
- Q: How will I be billed?
A: The credit card on the account will be charged monthly for the previous month's monthly fee of $19.99 per account and usage over 500 minutes at 3.9 cents/min per participant.
- Q: Will I receive an invoice?
A: Monthly invoices will be posted on the StarConferencing.com web site. You will have the ability to review and print the invoice from the web site.
- Q: Are there any taxes?
A: StarConferencing.com at this time is obligated to collect the following taxes:
Alabama - Alabama Sales Tax of 6% applies to all participants on a call who originate their connection from Alabama.
City of Chicago - The Chicago Simplified Telecommunications Tax of 7% applies to all participants on a call who originate their connection from the city of Chicago.
Connecticut - Connecticut Sales Tax of 6% applies to all participants on a call who originate their connection from Connecticut.
Illinois - Illinois Sales Tax of 7% applies to all participants on a call who originate their connection from Illinois.
Massachusetts - Massachusetts Sales Tax of 5% applies to all participants on a call who originate their connection from Massachusetts.
Gov't Surcharge Recovery Fee - 2.24% on all charges, effective 1/31/08.
Telecommunications Infrastructure Maintenance Fee - 0.5% on all charges
- Q: Can I change the credit card I use for payment after I sign up?
A: Yes, you can easily change the credit card used for payments once you are a subscriber.
- Q: What information is included on the invoice?
A: The invoice includes the type of connection, time and date of the conference, number of minutes per participant, the charges, if any, for each participant, the number the participants called from if they used the Toll Free Dial In access number, the total minutes and charges and up to two customer defined billing references.
- Q: Do you display the number the participants called in from on the invoice?
A: Yes, but only if the participant used the Toll Free Dial In access number.
- Q: When do I get charged and receive an invoice?
A: Monthly invoices are processed and payments charged to the credit card on record approximately 5 - 10 business days following the end of the month.
